How to replace the 2025–2026 Buick Enclave key fob battery
- Hold the release button near the bottom of the key and slide out the metal key blade
- Insert the blade tip at the bottom centre seam (not the key slot) and split the two halves
- Remove the old cell without using metal tools
- Pull back the rubber seal by its tab and lift off the inner cover
- Fit the new CR2450 with the + side up
- Check the silicone mat lies flat with no gaps, then lay the button side down on a hard surface and press the halves straight together
- Refit the key blade

After you change the battery
- Press lock and unlock from a few metres away. The car should react on the first press.
- On push-button start cars, start the engine once with the fob in your pocket.

About the CR2450 battery
CR2450 is a 24.5 mm × 5 mm, 3 V lithium cell with a typical capacity of about 620 mAh. The same size is sold as DL2450, ECR2450, 5029LC. A CR2430 has the same diameter but is thinner, so it can fit loosely and runs down sooner. Stick with CR2450.
